Violet's Vibes Massage & Collective Healing LLC has an amazing open house coming up this weekend! So many cool opportunities! I am really hoping to make it up there after work.
You all know I’m a geek for fascia and looooove talking about it but MAYBE you want to hear a fresh perspective from someone else! They will have a practitioner from the Human Garage on site teaching a class. ❤️🥰❤️🥰 I don’t think you will regret it.
✨ Meet Lori Holland, LOM, Dipl.OM ✨
Who are you & what do you offer?
I’m Lori Holland, a Licensed Practitioner of Oriental Medicine in Pennsylvania and a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. I offer acupuncture, Ba Guan, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, TuiNa, Qi Gong, Food Therapy, Herbal Medicine, Esoteric Acupuncture, and Alchemical Healing Ritual Ceremonies. I’m also a certified Daoist Death Doula, supporting individuals through the sacred transition of the dying process.
What inspired you to do this work?
My own health journey. After struggling with three autoimmune disorders, I began exploring Chinese Medicine and the ancient Asian philosophies and wisdoms that had always fascinated me. What started as a personal search for healing became a deep calling to formally study and share this medicine with others.
What can someone expect during a session with you?
No two treatments are exactly alike. A typical follow-up is about 1½ hours and is completely individualized based on your treatment plan and what you are experiencing that day. We may use several different modalities, and I may also offer recommendations involving herbs, food, movement, topical therapies, or other supportive practices to continue your healing at home.
Who would benefit most from your services?
Anyone who feels out of balance—physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. People commonly seek Chinese Medicine for pain, digestive concerns, women’s health and hormonal concerns, menstrual regulation, fertility, menopause, stress, anxiety, neurological conditions, and support with herbal, food, and supplement therapies.
What do you love most about what you do?
I love watching people become more aware of their own bodies and the incredible connection between physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Seeing someone begin to understand their own patterns and participate in their healing journey is incredibly meaningful to me.
What does wellness/healing mean to you?
Wellness is being in right relationship with our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual spaces—both internally and externally. Healing is a heightened awareness that allows true growth and transformation to occur. I believe we are all connected, and healing begins with learning to be wholly present while doing no harm to ourselves or others.
What’s something fun or unexpected about you?
My work extends beyond what many people traditionally think of as Chinese Medicine. Alongside acupuncture and herbal medicine, I practice Esoteric Acupuncture and Alchemical Healing Ritual Ceremonies—and I’m also a certified Daoist Death Doula. I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people through both healing and life’s final transformation.
What do you hope people feel when they leave your session?
I hope they experience some tangible measure of relief, but even more than that, I hope they leave with a deeper awareness of themselves. My goal is to help people understand their bodies and how their physical health connects with their mental and spiritual well-being, so they can continue that journey long after they leave my care.
What would you say to someone who is nervous or curious about trying your service?
It’s completely okay to be nervous or curious! Trying something new can feel exciting and unfamiliar at the same time. I take the time to explain what Chinese Medicine is, what we’re doing, how each modality works, and what you can expect during and after treatment. Open and honest communication is always welcome. Your comfort and safety come first.
Why should people come meet you at the Wellness Open House?
Come with your questions, your curiosity, and an open mind. Chinese Medicine offers a beautiful opportunity to look beyond the surface symptoms and explore the deeper roots of disharmony. I’d love to meet you, share what I do, and help you discover whether this approach could be part of your own journey toward feeling more balanced, connected, and whole. 🤍
