Big conversations are happening in Traverse City on October 20, and you're invited!

The Michigan Mobile Healthcare Roundtable is bringing together people who are already making mobile healthcare happen and those who are exploring how to bring care closer to their communities.

From getting a mobile program started to keeping it running for years to come, this is an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from others facing similar challenges.

No matter where you are in your mobile healthcare journey, your perspective matters!

That's the idea behind MARCUS, a mobile hospital in development for rural communities.

Its swappable modules are designed to give healthcare teams the flexibility to offer hospital-level care, like hemodialysis, right in someone's neighborhood.

The people doing this work know their communities best.

Across the Lowcountry, many people have had to travel too far for too long just to see a provider. That's starting to change.

Roper St. Francis Healthcare, Charleston's not-for-profit health system, has launched "Mobile Care for You", a new mobile program built to bring care to seven counties: Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Williamsburg, Colleton, Horry, and Georgetown.

On board, neighbors can get primary care, health screenings, vaccinations, HIV prevention and care, and preventive dental services, with dental care made possible through a partnership with MUSC James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine

That question is at the heart of MARCUS and the work underway through ARPA-H’s PARADIGM program.

For rural communities, access to care can be shaped by far more than whether a doctor or treatment exists. Miles matter. Transportation matters. Cost matters. And sometimes, generations of beliefs about healthcare matter too.

Some of the most important care happens away from a hospital, out in the community, closer to the people who need it.

That's exactly where you'll find RadiantPath Health .

For Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, their team joined the Houston Prostate Cancer Awareness Walk, standing with survivors, fighters, families, and advocates who are helping shine a light on prostate cancer and the men it touches.

Their whole approach is built around meeting people where they are, bringing advanced cancer treatment into communities so men don't have to travel far to get the care that can change their lives.

For a lot of families, that closeness makes all the difference.
