🎂🖤 HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY TO OUR APPRENTICE, JOANNA PRITT! 🖤🎂

Well... somehow this fabulous human is 23 today.

To be fair (read this in my vocal stem lololol)... she's been 87 years old in spirit since the day we met her. 😂

Over the last year and a half we've watched Joanna continue to grow as an artist, take on bigger projects, push herself outside of her comfort zone, and build a stronger foundation for the career she's working so hard to create -- all while STILL working on her Bachelors Degree.

Tattooing isn't easy. It requires patience, consistancy, and tons of repetative focus. Joanna shows up every day ready to learn, help out, work, and improve.

She's creative, kind-hearted, stubborn in all the right ways, and has become an important part of our Bangarang Ohana. Watching her find her confidence and her own artistic voice has been one of the coolest parts of this apprenticeship journey.

Joanna, thank you for all the laughs, all the hard work, all the random conversations, random Thesis on anything Batman (especially RedHood), all the art projects, and all the moments that make this shop feel like home.

We're incredibly proud of you and excited to see what this next year brings.

Even if your arguments are still wrong most of the time.

What an incredible Consultation Day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the shop, shared ideas, met with our artists, brought family members, introduced friends, and spent part of your day with us.

One of our favorite things about Consultation Day is seeing new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and helping people take the first step toward their next tattoo project.

We also love seeing the little ones and loved ones become part of something bigger. Our shop has always been built around family, friendship, creativity, and community, and every member of our Bangarang Ohana—big and small—helps make this place special. ❤️

🌺 SOOOOOO Grateful for our crew. 🌺

The first Tuesday of every month—the day before Consultation Day—is our Deep Clean Day at Bangarang.

While the shop is cleaned and maintained throughout the month, this is the one day where we typically don't have clients in the building, allowing us to fully reset, landscape, redecorate and prepare for another beautiful month ahead.

It's our opportunity to tackle all the extra projects that don't always fit into a busy tattoo schedule—deep cleaning, organizing, maintenance, resetting stations, and taking care of all the little details that help us maintain the clean, welcoming environment we're proud to provide for our artists and clients.

What makes this one special is that every person in this photo showed up on their day off to help.

Nobody had to.

They chose to.

As a shop owner, that means more than I can properly put into words how much the whole team ALWAYS shows up.

Thank you for helping make Bangarang Tattooing Company what it is. I appreciate every one of you. ❤️

Whether you're planning your first tattoo, a cover-up, or a large custom project, this is the perfect opportunity to sit down with an artist and start bringing your ideas to life.

We'll have 9 artists available to meet with during Consultation Day, including several special guest artists visiting the studio.

🌺 Memorial Weekend / Mid-May Shop Update 🌺

As we move through Memorial Weekend, we wanted to take a moment to slow down a little, check in with everyone, and send love to all military families while honoring and remembering those who fought for our freedom — not just this weekend, but always and forever in our minds and hearts. ❤️

The shop has been full of movement lately in the best way possible — artists traveling through, projects beginning, old friends returning, and a lot of exciting things building behind the scenes.
