🩺 CNA PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
To enroll in the CNA program, applicants must:
✅ Be 17 years of age or older
✅ Provide a PPD/Tuberculosis (TB) Test
✅ Complete a SLED Background Check — must be submitted by the first day of class
✅ Have BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers Certification
✅ Be prepared to follow our strict attendance policy
✅ Mandatory first-day orientation

Prerequisites:
✅ High School Diploma or GED
and/or
✅ Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification

Lowcountry Medical Training Center (LCMTC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN Instructor to teach our Nursing Assistant program at our Little River location.

🗓️ Class Schedule: Saturdays
⏰ 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Location: Little River, SC
👩‍⚕️ Instruction: Face-to-face

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an instructor who is:

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Experienced in long-term care

Patient, dependable, and professional

Comfortable with hands-on demonstrations and clinical skills

Able to explain healthcare concepts clearly and effectively

Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed

Patient and willing to ensure students fully understand the material and skills before moving forward

The ideal instructor will understand the responsibilities involved in caring for residents in long-term care and assisted living settings and will be committed to preparing students to provide safe, compassionate, and quality patient care.

POSITION: CNA INSTRUCTOR
We are seeking a qualified LPN or RN with strong clinical experience and a passion for teaching and developing future healthcare professionals. No online teaching. All face to face.

REQUIREMENTS
LPN or RN license in good standing
5+ years of professional nursing experience
Strong Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Excellent bedside manner
Compassionate, patient, and professional teaching style
Ability to demonstrate and teach CNA skills effectively
Strong communication and classroom-management skills
Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion
Must be dependable and committed to student success
Previous teaching or training experience is preferred
