Liver disease didn't just take my health... it took away the things that made me feel most alive.

Before I became sick, my family and I loved hiking through Rocky Mountain National Park. Being outdoors brought me peace, adventure, and time with the people I love.

Today, even simple hikes aren't possible. My body isn't the same, but my hope is.

One day, after a liver transplant, I hope to stand on those trails again. Until then, I'm asking for your help.

Please keep my story moving by sharing it with your family and friends. The person who saves my life may only find me because someone clicked "share."

Every father dreams of watching his children graduate. I'm praying I'll be here for the next one. 🎓

Watching my oldest son graduate from high school was one of the proudest moments of my life. I smiled from ear to ear because I was grateful just to be there.

What no one could see was how sick I really was. My hepatic encephalopathy had become severe, and only weeks before I had spent several days in the hospital. I pushed through because there was nowhere else I wanted to be.

Now my greatest hope is to watch both of my boys continue reaching their dreams. A living liver transplant would give me that chance.

Please help me reach more people by sharing my story. One share could connect me with the person willing to give the gift of life.

No parent ever expects to wonder if this could be one of the last games they watch with their children. 🏈

Taking my boys to their first San Francisco 49ers game is a memory I'll treasure forever. We laughed, cheered, and celebrated every play together against the Chicago Bears in December 2025. Looking at this photo, you'd never know I had been in the hospital before the trip... and was back in the hospital again shortly after we returned.

That's the reality of living with advanced liver disease. I hold onto every good day because I never know when my health will take another turn.

I'm fighting for more memories like this with my sons. If my story touches your heart, would you help me by sharing it? My future living donor is someone I've probably never met, and the only way they'll find me is if others help spread my story.

Some of the most precious moments in my life happen hundreds of miles away—and liver disease is making those moments harder to reach.

This is my family, gathered in the house where I grew up. Because we live in different states, I usually only see them twice a year when I travel back to San Jose, California. Now, doctor appointments, hospital stays, and the uncertainty of how I will feel make even those visits difficult to plan.

When I look at this photo, I do not think about my illness. I think about every hug, every laugh, and every memory I am still fighting to make. Although I may look strong, I urgently need a liver transplant—and my campaign cannot reach a potential living donor without the help of others.

Please help bring new hope to my search by sharing this post and inviting others to follow my page. Your share could reach the person who says yes to becoming a living liver donor and gives me the chance to spend more time with the family I love.

When you think your weekend is going to be good. Friday I drove to MD Anderson for appointments on Saturday morning. Well, that evening I had a spell and fainted and bruised a couple of ribs. Getting home to Buda, the pain was pretty bad, so I ended up in the ER again. Well, come Sunday, after the second visit to the ER, all I know is I was getting out on a gurney and into an ambulance. I was blue and my kidney functions were damaged and they pumping magnesium from my heart.. Still at the hospital in Kyle and will be here for a while.just got the pics from MD and Buda Kyle on my sensing visit.
