Antonio was great and helped me work through a shoulder injury I had. He helped me get back into working out slowly and I never felt rushed. Great place!

After shoulder surgery, your body may protect the area, getting stiff or guarded.

This can make it harder to do every day activities like reaching into cabinets, bench, pressing, throwing, hanging, or just getting back to normal workouts.

if you don’t rebuild overhead mobility it can cause more problems later

The goal is not to forced the shoulder. The goal is to rebuilt, motion, control, strength, and confidence step-by-step!

If you’re suffering with shoulder pain or just looking to improve your shoulder mobility, DM us the word SHOULDER to see how we can support you

3 Impact Movements to Add Before Returning to Running Postpartum

If you want to get back to running after having a baby, do not skip the impact prep.

These 3 bounding and impact-based movements can help your body relearn how to absorb force, create force, and handle the demands of running again.

Postpartum return to running is not just about feeling ready cardio-wise.
It is also about how well your pelvic floor, core, hips, and legs are handling impact.

This is the in-between work that matters.

Build tolerance.
Build confidence.
Build your body back into running.

And if you notice heaviness, leaking, pressure, or pain, that is a sign to slow down and get more support first.

Two areas you should focus on gaining or maintaining during pregnancy:

✨ Upper back strength and mobility
🍑 Glute strength

✨ Your upper back
As your belly grows and your posture changes, the upper back can get stiff, weak, and tight fast. Keeping this area strong and moving well can help with posture, ribcage movement, neck tension, and all the extra demand that comes with pregnancy.

🍑 Your b***y
Your glutes are a huge part of pelvic and hip stability. As your body changes and relaxin increases, having strong glutes can help support the pelvis, low back, and overall movement through pregnancy.

Pregnancy is not just about stretching and getting through it.
It is also about building the support your body is going to need.

Don’t be surprised if you still have back pain and you’re only doing planks

planks are not bad. They’re just not the whole answer.

if you still have back pain and plants are your only core workout, that may be part of the problem. Back pain usually needs more than static core strength.

Core work matters, but one exercise is rally enough to fix back pain. #

Deadlifts should build your body, not beat up your lower back!

If your lower back light up every time you deadlift, stop thing you need to “push through”

Lower back pain with deadlift is not normal.

That’s doesn’t mean you need to stop; you just need better mechanics. This will help the back not carry extra load it’s not suppose to.

I can’t recommend Erin enough. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and takes a true whole-body approach to care. She gives thoughtful feedback, explains what she’s seeing, and creates a treatment plan that feels personalized and effective. She is also the only chiropractor I’ve ever walked away from genuinely feeling better afterward. No scary cracking, no feeling worse the next day, just real relief and progress. She has made a huge difference in my neck mobility and overall comfort. As an equestrian athlete, I’ve been searching for someone who could support both my riding performance and overall wellness, and I’ve been so happy to add Erin to my weekly routine. She’s communicative, provides helpful exercises to continue at home, and is simply a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care.
