One of the biggest misconceptions about growing food is that if your property doesn’t have the right conditions, you’re out of luck.
I believe there’s almost always an opportunity to grow your own food.
This patio had limited growing space and sunlight, so instead of forcing a traditional garden into the landscape, we designed around those realities.
The raised beds are mounted on casters, allowing them to move with the sun throughout the season while maintaining a clean, intentional look on the patio.
Good design doesn’t ignore constraints. It works with them.
And often, that’s where the most interesting solutions come from.
