Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. 💜
Most people who walk into MN THC Co. probably don't know much about the person behind the company — and that's usually just fine with me. But today feels like an important day to share a little bit about why something at our registers means so much to me.
Before purchasing MN THC Co., I spent three years working at a treatment center. Addiction has also been part of my own story. I've lost friends and family members to this disease, and I've personally been in situations where I've had to administer naloxone to another person.
So when you see naloxone sitting at our registers, it isn't there because it looks good for a cannabis company to participate in harm reduction.
It's there because I know it saves lives.
