🏀 You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

As we watch the NBA Finals, we’re reminded that success comes from taking chances. No player wins a championship without stepping up and taking the shot.

Don’t sit on the sidelines of your health. Take your shot. 🏀

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow”
-Audrey Hepburn

These peonies are from my garden. They bloom yearly and remind me that taking care of your body is much the same. Every stretch, exercise, and small step forward is an investment in your future health. Keep planting the seeds. Your future self will thank you. 🙌🌸

Today’s therapy-inspired reminder: healing isn’t always found inside four walls. 🌿🦌 During a walk in nature, I was lucky enough to pass a herd of deer peacefully grazing. Moments like these remind us that movement is about more than exercise—it’s about connecting with the world around us.

Walking can improve mobility, balance, endurance, and mental wellness. And sometimes, nature adds a little extra magic to the journey.

Keep moving, keep exploring, and don’t forget to look up—you never know what you might discover along the way. 💚

This is why I do what I do. 🙌“I just want to say THANK YOU!! I haven’t slept pain free in a while!! Thank you for being ...

Angie is amazing! She has treated 4 or 5 different issues for me over the last 3 years, and somehow always fixes me in just one visit. She also takes the time to teach me how to continue treatment at home, which I really appreciate.
Most recently, she fixed a neck and shoulder pain I had for over 3 weeks. I was finally able to sleep pain free again after seeing her!
Years ago, I first went to Angie for shoulder pain that was keeping me from weightlifting. A sports doctor had told me I just needed weeks of rest, but Angie immediately found the real issue was coming from my neck and fixed it right away.
She truly listens, treats you with care, and makes you feel supported every. Highly recommend!

A lot of people think plantar fasciitis only comes from running, sports, or overtraining — but sometimes it starts with something much more subtle: how you sit. 👣

Sitting like this for long periods with the foot tucked back and the toes pointed downward can keep the plantar fascia and calf complex in a shortened, compressed position. Over time, this may reduce ankle mobility, increase tension through the arch, and irritate the plantar fascia once you stand up and walk again.

Common signs:
• Heel pain with the first steps in the morning
• Arch tightness after sitting for a while
• Calf stiffness
• Pain that improves as you move, then returns later

We see this a lot in people who:
✔️ Sit cross-legged or perch on stools for long periods
✔️ Work desk jobs
✔️ Spend hours commuting or traveling
✔️ Aren’t athletes at all

Your body adapts to the positions you spend the most time in. Repeated postures matter just as much as repeated movements.

Simple ways to help:
• Change sitting positions often
• Keep both feet supported on the floor when possible
• Stretch the calves and bottom of the foot regularly
• Strengthen foot and ankle muscles
• Take movement breaks every 30–60 minutes

Not all plantar fasciitis is a sports injury. Sometimes the problem starts long before the workout. Posture PhysicalTherapist MovementMatters

Hello May 🌸✨

There’s something about this month that feels like a fresh breath of air—longer days, warmer sunshine, and that gentle reminder to slow down and notice the beauty around us.

This May, I’m inspired by Sagrada Família in Barcelona—an incredible masterpiece that has taken generations to build. It’s a beautiful symbol of patience, faith, and trusting the process. Every detail is intentional, even when the full picture isn’t finished yet.

Wellness can feel the same way. It’s not about rushing to the end goal—it’s about showing up, little by little, and letting the small daily habits shape something strong, balanced, and lasting.

Not going to gatekeep my fabulous hairstylist . She has been doing my hair for more than 10 years, and is the best at what she does. She is taking new clients, so let’s support a local, women-owned business and treat ourselves to a little self-care - because self care is wellness. ً

🌷Hello April!

Physical therapy is like springtime for the body—slow movement, steady growth, and a return to strength.

This time of year is such a beautiful reminder that healing doesn’t happen overnight. Just like spring, progress comes with consistency, patience, and showing up.

A special thank you to my sweet patients for the beautiful tulips today. Your kindness truly made my day and reminded me why I love what I do. 💛

Spring energy is here 🌸

Rooted, grounded, and reaching upward—Tree Pose (Spring edition) reminds us that growth starts from within. Just like the season, we’re invited to find balance, embrace change, and bloom in our own time.

Breathe in fresh beginnings.
Exhale what no longer serves you.

Here’s to strength, renewal, and standing tall in your journey.
