To strengthen the Alliance Colorado leadership bench and support inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA), Alliance awarded scholarships to talented and deserving members. We are thrilled that Dezirae Gurule, DDRC Employment Services Manager, was selected to receive this honor during the Alliance Summit.

Recently, several individuals in DDRC's Day Program eagerly rolled up their sleeves to learn how smoothies are made and what it's like to work on a food truck. Thanks to the Peace & Humanity Smoothie Bus, they received a behind-the-scenes look at the bus in action. 🚌

They learned about fresh ingredients, food safety, and preparation while discovering how rewarding it is to create something that brings smiles to others. DDRC and the participants are grateful for this fun and educational experience.

Peace & Humanity Smoothie Bus creates employment opportunities for people with disabilities and youth while serving nutritious smoothies throughout the Denver metro area. 💙
