It's late August, which means our 2026 cohort of our Leaders in Policy Advocacy (LIPA) toured the Michigan State Capitol. These emerging leaders saw firsthand where laws are made and learned how to use public testimony as a tool for advocacy.

We’re looking forward to celebrating this awesome group of leaders as they complete their 6-month program next month! 🎉

Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) supports individuals with disabilities to prepare for, get, and keep a job.

Pre-ETS are available to high school students with a disability to prepare for employment. This can include job exploration, workplace readiness training, work-based learning, counseling, and learning self-advocacy skills.

Parents need to understand the important words that impact their child's special education services. Follow this page as we help decode this alphabet soup.

For 75 years, The Arc Michigan has stood alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, advocating for inclusion, opportunity, and belonging.

This Disability Pride Month, we honor the strength, leadership, and contributions of the disability community while recognizing that disability is a natural and valuable part of human diversity.

As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we're proud to reflect on the progress we've made together—and remain committed to creating a Michigan where every person is valued, included, and empowered to live the life they choose.

Here's to 75 years of advocacy—and to the work still ahead.
