Living with cerebral palsy, this client started with significant challenges in the way she moved.
She experienced muscle spasms, limited thoracic and pelvic rotation, and difficulty taking narrower steps because a wider base of support helped her feel more balanced and secure while walking.
For nearly three years, she’s committed to the process with Nick, working through our three-phase program combining hands-on bodywork, corrective exercise, and progressive movement training.
And the difference is incredible.
More thoracic rotation.
More pelvic rotation.
A stronger, more engaged core.
A narrower, more natural stride.
Better balance and stability.
And most importantly, a much more confident walk.
For someone living with a neurological condition like cerebral palsy, progress can require more time, patience, and repetition. That doesn’t mean everyone needs three years to see meaningful change. Every body has a different starting point, different challenges, and a different rate of adaptation.
What matters is committing to the process and continuing to build from where you are.
This is what we mean when we talk about improving movement mechanics.
We meet the person where they are, understand the limitations they’re working with, and build from there.
Three years of work. Thousands of steps. A transformation you can see.
