Chances are, you know someone who has survived cancer. In the United States alone, one out of every three people is expected to receive a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime. Currently, about 18.6 million Americans are living as cancer survivors and that number is expected to climb to 22.4 million over the next decade.

Meet Santiago, our Team Hope employee spotlight! ✨

Santiago is a medical scribe at Hope Cancer Care of Nevada. He currently continuing his education in anesthesia, with aspirations of becoming a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.

His favorite part of working at HCCN is the opportunity to provide compassionate care and support. He values being able to communicate with patients in Spanish, as it allows him to bridge language barriers and foster better patient understanding and comfort. He is also grateful for Dr. Mehdi’s mentorship, as well as the collaborative and efficient teamwork with his colleagues.

Congratulations, Santiago! We are grateful to have you as a part of our team and appreciate your dedication to patient care!
