Awareness isn't about stopping the experience; it's about changing your relationship to the experience.
I see it as a swimming pool. That pool is full of anxiety, fear, and overthinking.
You can choose to dive into the pool and swim with it all, or you can choose to sit on the side of the pool and observe it all.
From the side, you are free to make choices. In the pool, the water begins to fog the choices.
The nervous system begins to trust you when it realizes you're not just going to jump into the pool and let yourself drown. It looks for signs that you won't collapse when something uncomfortable happens. It is learning: I can feel this and stay here. I can experience this without becoming overwhelmed. I can pause. I can choose. That is awareness. Not getting out of the pool forever. Knowing you can step out when you need to.

What It Means To Teach
I've been reflecting on what it means to teach.
The more I learn, the less interested I am in being someone's answer.
For a long time, I placed people on pedestals because I didn't fully trust myself. I looked outside of myself for guidance, wisdom, and validation.
Through my own journey, I've learned that true growth comes from reconnecting with our own inner knowing.
What I hope to offer is a space where people feel safe enough to explore their own experience.
To ask questions.
To become curious.
To discover what is true for them.
If my classes ever point people anywhere, I hope they're pointing them back to themselves.
Because I believe each of us has the capacity to understand ourselves more deeply.
Each experience I take you through is to help you understand yourself with more clarity.
If people leave my classes trusting themselves a little more than when they arrived, then I feel I've done what I came to do.
That, to me, is what teaching means.
