Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. & OUI Thrift Store Private, non-profit organization helping those with disabilities. OUI also has a Thrift Store at our Snake River location in Lewiston.

As a private, nonprofit organization for the purpose of providing evaluation, training, employment, education, placement and support services to individuals with emotional, physical and developmental disabilities, including people with severe disabilities and people who are disadvantaged. These services are provided to increase their level of independent functioning, vocational skills and earned income in order to decrease their reliance upon public and private support.

Our second August Staff Spotlight of the Month is... ✨️Don Mager✨

This month, we’re honored to spotlight Don, one of our incredible DSPs who has been part of OUI for 17 years! ❤️

For Don, the best part of OUI has always been the people: “They teach us as much as we teach them.” He’s especially proud of watching the people he supports build independence in their jobs and homes. Don says working at OUI has changed his life and given him a true sense of community.

His coworkers describe him as a gentle spirit—reliable, kind, and loved by staff and participants alike. One of his favorite recent memories was when Peter Liedy visited and sang with our participants. 🎶

A few fun facts about Don: Before OUI, he owned a painting business, his go-to drink is an iced peppermint matcha, his favorite movie is White Christmas, and his dream trip would be to Israel or Jerusalem! ✈️

Don, thank you for 17 years of compassion, reliability, and heart. We’re so grateful for everything you bring to the OUI community! 💙

Our first August Staff Spotlight of the Month is... ✨️Hannah Cornforth✨

Meet Hannah, one of our amazing Lead DSPs! Hannah has been part of the OUI family for six years, off and on, and describes her work here as “soul-fulfilling.” ❤️

Her favorite part of OUI is laughing and dancing with coworkers while watching the people we support grow in confidence and independence. Over the years, Hannah is especially proud of how much she’s grown professionally, and her coworkers describe her as spunky, kind, caring, and full of heart.

One of her favorite OUI memories? Renting a limo with the crew, cruising around, and drinking cider! 🥂

Outside of work, Hannah is a gig musician and even competed in beauty pageants as a child! Her perfect day would include an iced vanilla latte and a trip to the Oregon Coast. 🌊☕

We’re so grateful for the heart and energy Hannah brings to OUI. Thank you for making OUI a brighter place, Hannah! 💕
