Breast cancer and beauty aren’t normally two things we talk about together. When you’re fighting for your life, caring about how you look can almost feel vain.

But after watching Kalsey’s mom fight breast cancer for the past two years, we’ve seen how much a diagnosis can change beyond your health. Your body changes. Your hair changes. Your skin changes. And sometimes, even the person you recognize in the mirror changes.

When so much is out of your control, choosing to put on makeup, do your hair, or simply do something that makes you feel a little more like yourself isn’t vanity. It’s choice. It’s confidence. And sometimes, it just helps you feel a little more like yourself.

That’s why this October, we’re Amazing in Pink.

We’ve been waiting a long time to finally say this… we’re the new owners of AMAZINGCOSMETICS. 🤍

To be trusted with a brand that has spent the last 26 years in makeup artist kits, on red carpets, behind the scenes of film and television, and in the routines of so many loyal customers is something we don’t take lightly.

We both came to Amazing from very different sides of the beauty industry. Megan has spent the last eight years working alongside Sue and Lisa, helping grow the e-commerce and retail side of the business and getting to know this brand from the inside out. Kalsey spent years as a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles before building her career in branding and marketing.

And somehow, those two paths brought us here.
We have so much respect for what Sue and Lisa built, and we feel incredibly lucky that they trusted us with what comes next.

Twenty-six years ago, we created Amazing Cosmetics with one product: AMAZINGCONCEALER. We believed in that little tube from the start, but we had no idea how far it would go.

Over the years, our products have found their way into your makeup bags and onto the sets, red carpets, and dressing tables of the people you’ve watched on screen. Makeup artists have kept them in their kits, and so many of you have come back to us year after year. Every time someone told us they couldn’t live without their concealer, it meant the world.

Building Amazing has given us more memories, friendships, and pinch-me moments than we ever expected. To our customers, makeup artists, retail partners, and everyone who believed in us along the way: thank you for making these 26 years what they’ve been.

Now it’s time for us to pass Amazing into the hands of two women we believe in wholeheartedly. They’re full of ideas, they care deeply about this brand, and we couldn’t be more excited for its next chapter.

We know a change like this can bring questions, so we want to say this clearly: AMAZINGCOSMETICS IS HERE TO STAY! The products and formulas you love are staying, too. This next chapter is about giving the brand room to grow.
