✨ Patient Spotlight ✨

Meet Bill! 💙 Bill is one of those people you just instantly click with. His amazing personality, kindness, and friendly attitude make every visit a joy!

He’s also one seriously active guy, and we’ve loved being able to help him get back to doing the things he loves most. We’re so grateful he trusted us with his care and are even more grateful that we could play a small part in keeping him active and doing what he enjoys! 💪🏼

➡️ Check out what Bill has to say about his experience at Made New Physical Therapy! Our good friend Sam from UPMC referred Bill to us!

"I have always been active - enjoying cycling, trail running, paddleboarding and lately rucking.

Last year I experienced a few falls while trail running, usually clipping a rock or root with my left foot. During my workdays I also noticed some mild foot drop and decreased dorsiflexion. I usually self-diagnose and just push through these ailments as do most of us I believe. This felt different.

I sought out the advice of Samantha Snukis, PA-C, UPMC. After her very thorough evaluation she ordered some x-rays and eventually an MRI. The MRI confirmed her suspicion. There was an L5-S1 compression which was degenerative in nature. I had signs and symptoms of sciatica secondary to piriformis syndrome, so Sam believed I could benefit from Physical Therapy.

I contacted Made New PT in Lititz. Alisha Green, DPT, met with me on the first visit. Her evaluation and assessment were very thorough. She assured me that while the actual compression was not fixable by PT alone, the symptoms could be managed with some specifically designed exercises.

After multiple visits to Made New PT and daily personal sessions at home and work, using the tools Alisha, Julia and Alison taught me, I was on the mend and back to trail running and other activities I enjoy.

I have not been to other PT Clinics in my life so I can't make any comparisons. But, I can tell you I felt so much positive energy from everyone I met at Made New. The therapists demonstrate professionalism while also offering a compassionate and calming reassurance.

Thanks again to you all!!”

✨ Patient Spotlight ✨

Meet Kaddel! 💙 We’ve loved having the opportunity to work with this amazing young lady and be part of her journey. One of the sweetest parts has been getting to know Kaddel and her mom along the way. We’re so grateful for the trust they’ve placed in us and have loved watching Kaddel grow and progress throughout her time at Made New. 🥰

And if you didn’t already know… Kaddel is pretty incredible! She currently ranks No. 16 all-time in U.S. high school history in the 400m! 🤯🏆

Explore more to see what Kaddel has to say about her experience at Made New and check out more of her amazing accomplishments!

"I first came to Made New Physical Therapy after straining my left hamstring last year. I injured it in April but kept running on it before finally deciding to start physical therapy in July.

After about a month of treatment, my leg was feeling much better, and I was able to return to track practices that August.

This year, I came back to Made New after straining my right hamstring in May. I completed a few sessions in early June to prepare for my U20 meet, and I was able to compete and perform far beyond my expectations.

I'm incredibly proud of how I was able to bounce back and come back running even better than I was before my injuries."

Julia had the opportunity to attend a pelvic health workshop and yoga practice on Tuesday, and she learned SO much! 💜

Our DPT friend, Nicolette Simon, is a certified Pelvic Health PT who recently opened her own private practice, Inner Synk here in Lancaster! She teamed up with Sarah Shelton of Holding Space Yoga to offer an educational discussion on pelvic health, followed by a guided yoga practice at Urban Well Yoga Studio.

Julia had such a great time connecting with the attendees, moving her body, and learning more about pelvic floor health. We love opportunities like this to continue learning and growing so we can better support our patients and community!

If pelvic floor health is something you're interested in (for yourself or someone you love) chat with Julia! She'd be happy to share some of what she learned to better direct you to these great resources.

We’ll also have flyers available in the clinic if you’re interested in:

And of course, be sure to check out their socials and learn more about what they offer! Details in the comments!
