I was honored to be a guest on Ed Maffey's Retire With Confidence Podcast and loved where this conversation took us.

We spend so much time planning financially for the life we want to live someday. But are we investing just as intentionally in the health we’ll need to enjoy it?

We talked about why I believe so many health problems begin upstream, at the cellular and metabolic level, long before they become chronic disease.

We also talked about why “normal” labs don’t always tell the whole story, what we can learn when we look deeper at physiology, and how this same approach could help change the future of corporate wellness and prevention.

Because longevity isn't simply about adding years to your life.

It's about having the health, energy and freedom to actually LIVE those years. 🤍

I’ve uploaded our full conversation to my YouTube channel. Link in bio if you’d like to watch! https://youtu.be/5M5Bdo-IFK0?si=qf5CVEfMvUGKAyf_

How I get ~50g of protein at breakfast… without eating 6 eggs. 😉

This yogurt bowl also gives me fiber, antioxidants, healthy fats, and ingredients that support gut health.

Greek yogurt + protein + berries + seeds + a few extras = an easy breakfast that keeps me fueled.

And yes—it actually tastes good. 😂

Full recipe + exactly what I put in it is in the comments 👇

Save this one for your next breakfast! 🤍

Vacation looks a little different when you’ve found your purpose. 🌊

This morning, before heading to the beach, I met with a client to review their Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis results and begin building their personalized health roadmap.

Some people might wonder why I’d work on vacation.

The answer is simple.

When you truly love what you do, it doesn’t always feel like work.

Helping people finally understand why they don’t feel well and giving them hope for a healthier future is something I’m deeply passionate about.

Now… back to making memories with my family. ❤️

I feel incredibly grateful that I get to do both.

One of the simplest things you can do for your health doesn’t cost a thing. ☀️

Morning sunlight + Zone 2 movement = a powerful combination to support your mitochondria, metabolism, circadian rhythm, and long-term health.

Small, consistent habits create lasting change.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start understanding your health, I’d love to help.

“My blood work is normal… so why do I still feel terrible?”

It’s one of the most common things I hear.

If you’ve been dealing with fatigue, brain fog, hormone changes, stubborn weight, chronic stress, or just don’t feel like yourself, it can be incredibly frustrating to be told that everything looks “normal.”

That’s why I use Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis as part of my comprehensive approach.

It’s not about chasing another diagnosis or adding more supplements.

It’s about helping me better understand your physiology so I can create a personalized plan that’s based on your body—not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Because when we stop guessing and start understanding what’s happening beneath the surface, we can make more informed decisions about nutrition, recovery, and long-term health.

✨ Every person is different.
✨ Every plan should be too.

Have you ever been told your labs were “normal,” but you still knew something wasn’t right? I’d love to hear your story in the comments.

For years we’ve been told…

Take magnesium.
Take zinc.
Take vitamin D.
Take ashwagandha.
Take creatine.

And while all of those supplements can be incredibly helpful…

None of them are right for everyone.

One of the biggest misconceptions in health is that if a supplement helped your friend, it should help you too.

But our bodies don’t work that way.

The person sitting next to you may need more magnesium.

You may need less.

Someone else may need to support copper.

Another person may need to focus on potassium before taking more calcium.

The goal isn’t to take more supplements.

The goal is to take the right supplements for your physiology.

That’s why I don’t hand every client the same protocol.

I spend time understanding how their body is functioning and build a personalized plan from there.

Because precision will always outperform guessing.

Today I turn 51. 🎂

And honestly…

I don’t feel older.

I feel more grateful.

Grateful for another year.
Grateful for my family.
Grateful for friendships that have stood the test of time.
Grateful for the challenges that changed me.
And grateful that I get to wake up every day doing work I truly love.

This past year reminded me that health isn’t just about what we eat, how we exercise, or the supplements we take.

It’s also about how we live.

The joy we experience.
The people we surround ourselves with.
The purpose that gets us out of bed.
The gratitude we choose even on the hard days.

As someone who has spent decades in healthcare and has walked through my own journey with Long COVID, I’ve learned that healing isn’t just physical.

Our bodies and our minds are deeply connected.

So today, instead of focusing on getting older, I’m celebrating getting another year to live with intention, love a little deeper, laugh a little louder, and help others find health not just for more years, but for more life in those years.

Here’s to 51… and to living it well. 🤍

“But my labs were normal…”

It’s one of the most common things I hear.

Here’s what many people don’t realize…

Your body works at the cellular level—not just in your bloodstream.

Blood tests are incredibly valuable because they tell us what’s circulating in your blood at that moment. Your body works hard to keep those levels within a normal range because they’re essential for survival.

But what if your cells tell a different story?

For example, your blood magnesium may be “normal,” while your tissues have been depleted for months or even years. Your body will often pull minerals from storage to keep your blood levels stable, which means standard lab work doesn’t always reflect what’s happening inside your cells.

That’s one reason I use Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) as part of a bigger picture.

HTMA doesn’t replace blood work—it complements it.

It gives us a window into long-term mineral patterns, how your body has been using and storing minerals over the past few months, your response to stress, and clues about where your body may be struggling to produce energy efficiently.

This is why I don’t believe in “everyone should take magnesium” or “everyone needs zinc.”

The goal isn’t to take more supplements.

The goal is to understand what your body needs, then create a personalized plan that supports healing from the inside out.

Because when you support the cell, the whole body benefits. 🤍
