Midwives provide an alternative approach to maternal healthcare that is desperately needed in our area.
That's why WOMB is proud to present a special Community Screening on September 19th. The film Birthstory: Ina May Gaskin and the Farm Midwives provides a unique look into the practice of midwifery.

Join the Women of the Mountains Birth Initiative for a community screening of the movie Birth Story followed by a birth story circle storytelling opportunity to learn, grow, and heal around the journey into and through motherhood.

Women of the Mountains Birth Initiative (WOMB) is hosting a monthly Doula Dinner Series. We gather each month to provide a welcoming space created for all doulas, birth workers, midwives, and perinatal support professionals!
Tonight is our final Friday event, starting in September we will settle into a Thursday evening each month.
