Today, our ABA Program and Learning Center came together wearing PINK in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀

Last Friday, as part of Fire Prevention Week, our science experiment was a volcano experiment! 🌋🔥

📚 Reminder: No Classes Monday, October 12

Just a friendly reminder that the Learning Center will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of the holiday.

Classes will resume on our regular schedule on Tuesday, October 13.

🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Week Fun! 🔥🚒

On Thursday, our students had such a fun and exciting visit learning about fire safety and getting to see the fire truck up close!

They had the opportunity to explore, ask questions, learn about firefighters and emergency safety, and enjoy a special hands-on experience with their classmates.

A big thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit our students and make the day so memorable! ❤️🚒

Yesterday we had the opportunity to celebrate Iván’s birthday with his classmates at Amazing Development Care Learning Center! 💜

💙 Growing Together, Learning Together! 💙

At Amazing Development Care, we believe that providing the best care for our children starts with continuously learning, growing, and working together as a team! 🌟

Last Friday, our ABA and Learning Center teams participated in a wonderful staff training led by our BCBA, Foeke Rienks!

Our Learning Center teachers received valuable training on classroom behavior management, positive support strategies, safety, and creating a supportive learning environment. Our RBT team also participated in training focused on ABA practices, professional development, and providing quality care.

And of course, learning doesn’t have to be boring! 😄🎉 We played games, participated in fun interactive activities, shared ideas, and learned together while strengthening our teamwork!

A special thank you to Foeke for taking the time to train both teams and making the experience educational, engaging, and fun!

We are so proud of our amazing staff for their enthusiasm, participation, and dedication to our children and families. 💙

Our team came together to plan a small surprise baby shower for Mrs. D and her baby boy, and it was such a sweet moment. Everyone contributed to help make her feel special, loved, and supported as she gets ready to welcome her little one. 🎁💙

💙 Meet Our New RBT — Felicia Ray! 💙

We are excited to welcome Felicia Ray to the Amazing Development Care team as one of our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)! 🎉

Felicia brings experience supporting adolescents and individuals with mental, physical, and behavioral disabilities. She is passionate about helping children reach their goals, develop greater independence, and feel successful in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Her passion for working with children and families comes from both her personal and professional experiences with advocacy and seeing firsthand the difference that the right support can make. 💙

Felicia describes herself as patient, compassionate, dependable, and always willing to learn. She is excited to continue growing in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and to build positive, trusting relationships with the children and families she serves.
