✨ a little scheduling update ((and SALE)) from carson! ✨
i wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that i’ll be having surgery on september 16th, which means my schedule is going to look a little different for a while afterward. 🖤
per my doctor’s instructions, i’ll be taking at least two full weeks completely off following surgery to rest, recover, and give my body the time it needs to heal properly. during those first two weeks, i will not be tattooing or piercing.
after those initial two weeks, i should be able to start easing back into piercing appointments, as long as my recovery is going according to plan. ✨
tattooing, however, is a different story. because of the physical strain, positioning, leaning, stretching, and prolonged periods of sitting involved, i’m expecting to be unable to tattoo for approximately six weeks after surgery.
so, if you’ve been wanting to get tattooed by me, now is a really good time to get on my books before september 16th! 🖤

since i’ll be completely out of work for at least two weeks, and unable to tattoo for considerably longer, i figured this would be a fun way to squeeze in as many of y’all as i can before surgery while also helping me build a little cushion for bills and expenses during the time i’ll be out recovering.
you get two piercings for the price of one, and i get to head into surgery a little less stressed about being out of commission. seems like a pretty damn good trade to me. 😂🖤
so if you’ve been putting off that piercing, wanting to add another one, or need an excuse to finally get the pair you’ve been thinking about, this is it!
my tentative recovery timeline will be:
🖤 september 16th: surgery
🖤 sept. 16th–30th: completely out of the studio for recovery
🖤 after ~2 weeks: piercing appointments can gradually resume
🖤 after ~6 weeks: tattoo appointments can gradually resume, depending on how i’m healing
of course, recovery isn’t always perfectly predictable, so these dates may shift depending on how my body is doing and what my doctor recommends. i’m not going to rush healing just to get back behind the needle a few days sooner.
