Some patients can’t make the trip to see a doctor because of their mobility issues, or their condition simply prevents them. That’s why our medical team makes house visits in addition to their clinic work, so that individuals in desperate need of care who are isolated can also have their medical needs taken care of.

The ability to move freely affects our ability to live independently, engage in social activities, and access essential services. But many of the patients we see in our clinics experience mobility issues; some due to age, others because of war injuries or amputations.

Our doctors and rehabilitation physicians often treat neuropathic pain and provide techniques for improved mobility. They help train patients to use walkers instead of wheelchairs, and when mobility issues prevent them from coming to a clinic, our Mobile Units make home visits.

💙💛 Please support our efforts to provide medical care for people in conflict-affected areas who badly need help:

IDP: it stands for internally displaced person, but there's a difficult story behind every single person that carries that label.

Forced from their homes and seeking shelter in nearby communities; IDPs are the displaced victims of war. Getting medical treatment for them is critical, but also incredibly challenging.

It's why our medical teams work as Mobile Units in the shelters for IDPs in Dnipro and Kharkiv. They treat those whom the strained system isn't equipped to help, so they’re not left to suffer through injuries and treatable conditions.

The medical team in Kharkiv oblast consists of 2 family doctors, 1 neurologist, 1 nurse and a driver. In Dnipro oblast it consists of 1 family doctor, 1 family doctor+endocrinologist, 1 rehabilitation physician, 1 nurse and a driver.

Our teams are small, but they have a big impact; seeing 800-900 patients per month.

Please help us provide this badly needed care by donating here:

Elderly may be the ones most forgotten victims in an invasion. They stay home when conflict creeps closer and the area is evacuated, when the community leaves and their support goes with it. Some can't leave their homes, others have nowhere to go.

These time-honoured souls comprise the majority of patients we see in our mobile clinics. The average age of those seeking medical care with us is 60yrs old, with arthritis presenting as a common condition. For them medical assistance consists of reducing chronic pain and maintaining mobility of the joints. Our mobile clinic team also helps with vision and hearing issues, spinal issues and back pain.

Because they shouldn't be forgotten.

Please help us provide medical care to those who have been left without it.

Those living in proximity to conflict areas have seen their medical support disappear; clinics have closed and the doctors they relied on are gone. That means that manageable conditions such as Type 2 diabetes or coronary artery disease become an urgent problem.

Frontline Medics has been operating mobile clinics in areas lacking reliable healthcare in Kharkiv and Dnipro oblast. These doctors are dispensing prescriptions for vital medication to patients as part of their work. The demand is high. With 800-900 patients per month, many are relying on this lifeline.

Help us provide medical care to those who have been stripped of it.
