I try to tell my younger patients all the time—WAIT. 🤍

Wait until YOU actually feel like you need it. And if you never want to do it at all, that’s okay too.

We all have different goals, desires, and ideas of what makes us feel beautiful. Unfortunately, we live in a world that can make women feel like we’re expected to look our very best at every age—especially now, when there are so many treatments available to help prevent or soften the signs of aging.

My best friend always says, “I’ve earned every wrinkle,” and she has absolutely no desire to prevent them. Sometimes I wish I had a little more of that mindset. 😂 But the truth is, we’re all shaped by our experiences, our circumstances, how we were raised, and even the expectations we’ve placed on ourselves.

There is nothing wrong with wanting Botox, filler, skincare, lasers, or anything else that makes you feel good.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting none of it.

My wish is that every woman can look in the mirror and feel beautiful and confident—whatever she decides. ❤️
