The camaraderie of the strength sports community is always absolutely amazing. We will always be proud to support. We met when we sponsored the 2022 National Competition. In was in Dallas that year and was one hell of a comp! travels all over the country commentating for some of the biggest powerlifting meets and strongman comps there are. Our brand crossed paths with them again last week in Anaheim, Ca as one of our powerlifting athletes and his coach were there for the 2026 Ultra Nationals. They definitely represented both on the platform and off. This is what it’s all about and will never get old. Already looking forward to the next time

What a show.
10 events. Two days. Heavy as hell.

From the very beginning, Erin and I were trading blows back and forth. I knew coming into the weekend she would be the athlete pushing me to my absolute limit, and that’s exactly what happened. Every point mattered. Every event mattered.

I’m incredibly proud of my performance…not just because of where I finished, but because this show proved that who I am as an athlete has leveled up. The strength, conditioning, grit, and composure I brought to the floor were all on a different level than a year ago.

A huge thank you to my coach, . The brutal training sessions, the programming, the adjustments, and all the days he pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of prepared me for exactly this moment.

And a massive shoutout to the entire team for everything they do before, during, and after the competition. The athletes get the spotlight, but there are countless people behind the scenes making these events happen.

And finally, a special shoutout to the ringmaster himself, Tyler. Most people see the screens, media coverage, livestreams, and production on show day. What they don’t see are the months of planning, preparation, troubleshooting, and thousands hours that go into creating an event of this caliber. The work you put in is nothing short of incredible.

This sport demands a lot from everyone involved. This weekend was a reminder of exactly why I love it.

Now it’s time to recover, reflect, and get back to work. 🔥

Huge Congrats Josh!

Repost from

2026 Ultra Nationals is wrapped up! The meet was the most impressive I have ever seen . Professional lighting, music, commentators, referees, and spotters/loaders. It was a privilege to be on the Purple All Star Stage competing against the best; I was on the heaviest/strongest flight of the premier stage on Day 3.

I hit a PR in Squat (242.5 kg, 535 lbs), going 3/3 on what is typically my worst lift. I moved 275 kg/606 lbs faster than I ever have before to earn the Bronze in Deadlift. Unfortunately, I jumped the down command by a fraction of a second to miss the State Record (292.5 kg, 645 lbs) for my third attempt, and therefore the Silver in the Deadlift. While it wasn’t my best total (675 kg), I was 7th out of the 23 lifters at 82.5 kg open.

This was my third USPA meet in 6 months, each with quite a water cut. I did my best to make this prep perfect despite the circumstances, but sometimes your best just isn’t enough. Even on my worst day I hit podium and was competitive with the best.

I have grown so much in the last few months. In the last year since lifting at the I have added over 40kg to my total, with much of that happening recently since being coached by JP Carroll.

I always tell my students that an experiment isn’t a failure if you learned something. This is what I learned;
(1) I need to reduce the number of meets I do in a year. I need to invest more time into training to further build my total.
(2) I need to reduce or eliminate the weight cut. I am going to dial in nutrition to train at or below my competing weight.
(3) I need to practice like I compete. I am going to train with commands. I am never going to drop a state record from jumping a down command. I can’t afford to miss another bench attempt because of a possible butt raise.
(4) I need to keep going. I can compete against the best in the country, even on my worst day.

Thank you again to my sponsors and , as well as my friends, family, and students for all of your support. Next up is the Gainiac Open (9/12/26) here in Lubbock at Prima Vista Events Center.

That’s a wrap for Season 1✨

Bodybuilding is a tough sport. It breaks you down over and over again and it teaches you many lessons along the way. Learning how to grow from failure is something I wish everyone could experience.

This process taught me to not compare to social media, other categories, the age of the competitors, their background in sports/training, or their training years because all it does is take away the whole point in competing… improving yourself!

Overnight success is rare and honestly not worthwhile, branch warren, one of the greats took 9 years to get his pro card in one of the most competitive divisions at the age of 26, something people don’t talk about.

I was not happy with my physique and honestly a little discouraged but the reality is all we see online are the quick successes and not the long journeys that shape some of the greatest athletes.

The only way to improve in bodybuilding is to take constructive feedback and not seek worldly results. It’s not about a one and done it’s about working towards a goal every single day and pushing yourself mentally and physically beyond your limits.

God gives some of the toughest battles to the strongest soldiers and through all the ups and downs of this prep I’ve grown so much in my character, my faith, and my trust in myself!

This season wasn’t about winning it was about learning as both a first time coach and a first time competitor. Coached/peaked three girls to national qualifying all as true novice while being a full time grad student with research and clinical requirements.

Excited for a real off season building some real muscle, trusting myself and coming back unrecognizable, let’s do this💪🏼
