🎭✨ A little Halloween magic, a lot of creativity, and so many smiles! 🎃💜

We had such a wonderful time at our Halloween Theatre Workshop in collaboration with artsenrichmentforall

Our participants had the opportunity to explore their creativity, express themselves, and build confidence through the performing arts, all while making new connections and having some spooky-season fun! 👻

A huge thank you to Arts Enrichment for All for bringing this special experience to our epilepsy community and helping us create a welcoming space where everyone can shine! 🌟

Calling all young actors, storytellers, and Halloween fans!

Join the Valley Children's Epilepsy Support Program and Arts Enrichment for All for a morning of creativity, imagination, movement, and Halloween-inspired theatre fun. Participants will explore storytelling, self expression, and interactive theatre activities in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Living with epilepsy can feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our virtual support groups are a space to connect with others who understand, share experiences, ask questions, and simply spend time together.

Whether you’re a parent or caregiver looking for support, or a teen or young adult wanting to meet others who get it, there’s a group for you!

Before the school year begins, take time to review and update your student’s Seizure Action Plan (SAP). Making sure teachers, school nurses, and staff understand what to do during a seizure can help everyone feel more prepared and confident from day one. 🎒📚

Back to school ready! 📚✏️💜

We had so much fun at our Back to School Game Night bringing our epilepsy families together for an evening of learning, games and getting prepared for a safe and successful school year!

Families learned about seizure safety, how to prepare for the school year, and why having an updated Seizure Action Plan (SAP) is so important. We also made sure our students headed home with school supplies to help them start the year feeling prepared! 🎒✨

Thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make the night so special. Here’s to a safe, confident and seizure-smart school year! 💜

Did you know? Across the United States, 470,000 children and teens have been diagnosed with epilepsy, yet only 45% of pediatric patients have a seizure action plan.

A seizure action plan (SAP) provides important information for others on what they should do to manage a seizure.
