Get to know Rachel Jones, our Front Office Coordinator at Dockery & Associates PT - Central Madison! 🙌

Rachel attended George Fox University in Oregon before earning her master’s degree in Human Resource Management from American InterContinental University. 👩‍🎓

With 14 years of experience in the medical field, she understands that navigating insurance and healthcare can sometimes feel overwhelming. Rachel is passionate about helping patients understand the process and making every step of their experience as simple and stress-free as possible. 🧘‍♀️

Rachel will most often be the first person you speak with at the Central Madison clinic & she is known for always greeting our patients with a big, warm smile. 😊

Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends and relaxing at home with her beloved fur babies. 🐶

Employee Highlight - Jenna Frye 👩🏼‍⚕️

Jenna is an Occupational Therapist & Certified Hand Therapist for Dockery & Associates PT at our Central Madison location. 👈

She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees from the University of Missouri, completing her graduate education in 2013. Jenna brings a diverse clinical background as she began her career in inpatient neurological rehabilitation and later transitioned to outpatient orthopedics with a focus on upper-extremity and hand rehabilitation. Jenna is a Certified Hand Therapist, certified in kinesiology taping, and certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Her experience allows her to bring a well-rounded perspective to patient care while helping individuals restore function and return to the activities that matter most to them!

Outside of the clinic, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, three children (Nash, Miller, & Sutton), & two dogs. She also enjoys staying active through weightlifting and traveling. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🐶

Meet our newest Occupational Therapist, Dr. Annie Griffin! 👩🏼‍⚕️

Annie grew up in Northeast Alabama and attended Pisgah High School where she excelled in the classroom and on the basketball court. She led her team to back-to-back state Championships & in 2019 was named Alabama Miss Basketball. ⛹🏼‍♀️

After graduating from Pisgah, Annie attended Auburn University and played Division I basketball for the Tigers. She was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The discipline, teamwork, & determination that helped Annie succeed as a collegiate athlete are all qualities she now brings to her occupational therapy career. 🎓

Annie later earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of South Alabama. She may already look familiar to some of our patients as she completed a clinical rotation with Krystal Lytle, OT, CHT last fall. We had the opportunity to get to know Annie during that time, and we are excited to now welcome her back as an official member of the Dockery & Associates PT team! 🎉

Meet & welcome Dr. Quade Pate….our newest Physical Therapist at Dockery & Associates PT! 🙌

A little backstory here…Quade reached out to me because he was interested in our treatment model of 1-on-1 patient care with a PT on every session. I brought him to shadow for a morning and the whole team at West Madison fell in love with him. I always say we hire people, not positions and knew Quade was a perfect fit for us!

Quade majored in Kinesiology at UAH and graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College this year. He is passionate about treating spine conditions, helping patients understand the source of their pain, and getting people back to activities they love to do. Quade enjoys working out, trying new local restaurants, and playing pickleball with friends.

We are so excited to add Quade to the Dockery PT team!

🤯 Simple Headache Relief

😬 If you are someone who suffers from chronic headaches and/or migraines than you definitely need to check this post out!

⚡️ Often times, cervicogenic headaches are caused by compression of the suboccipital nerve which lies underneath the base of the skull.

🙌 To decrease compression and relieve symptoms simply perform sustained suboccipital gapping. This position will need to be held for at 30-60 seconds to provide sufficient relief.
