🎬 Representation Matters! Let’s Celebrate Rise and Shine! 🌟

A powerful story of hope, friendship, and belonging is coming to the big screen! 💙💛

Rise and Shine opens nationwide at AMC theaters on October 23, featuring two leading actors, Jordan Nicole Wall and Halie Rae Strickler, who both have Down syndrome.

Inspired by a true story, the film follows Terri, a neurodiverse teenager with cerebral palsy, as she navigates the challenges of wanting to attend high school, make friends, and find her place in the world. Alongside her mother, Janice, Terri faces life's challenges with unwavering optimism.

✨ Why this matters: Seeing people with disabilities represented in leading roles helps promote inclusion, challenge stereotypes, and remind us that everyone deserves the opportunity to have their story told.

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now! Gather your family and friends and support Rise and Shine during opening weekend, October 23–25. The theatrical run may be limited, so opening weekend is the perfect time to show your support!

💙 Let's celebrate inclusion, representation, and the power of seeing yourself on the big screen!

Happy Halloween ideas for all!

Happy Halloween ideas for all!

Halloween doesn't have to look a certain way to be meaningful. 🎃💛

Your child doesn't have to wear a costume. They don't have to say "trick-or-treat". They don't have to carve a pumpkin, visit every house, or participate in traditions that don't work for them.

From visual supports and rehearsal trick-or-treating to sensory-friendly costumes, alternative celebrations, and knowing when it's okay to simply skip something- our latest blog post is all about making Halloween work for your child, not making your child work for Halloween.
