Ada got a new needle and everything looks good! Hoping that this week we have no mishaps that will cause us to go back into Madison before we are due to go in!

Unexpected ER visit. Ada's tubing got disconnected and we called our care team and they told us to come in. Got to make sure that we don't get her central line infected. Luckily Ada is in good spirits.

We went to Madison this morning to check Ada's labs and get a new needle! Last time we did Blina it was really hard on Ada to do port access and take her bandage off but she did so good! She had Archie with her and her NP said everything looks great!

We are on our way to Madison for an unplanned visit. We noticed that Ada's dress was wet near her port site and her medicine was completely leaking through. The biopatch wasn't underneath the needle anymore and was soaked.

We called our on call doctor and she said we could come in today to get it changed and to clamp and turn off her medicine.

We are grateful that we didn't have to make a midnight run to the ER but it was a very anxious night. We were reminded of how hard every stage of her treatments is.

We have been discharged. I'm grateful that we are able to have this life saving medicine. But we are tired.

Ada had an LP this morning and did amazing! She woke up pretty fast after it and we didn't have to wait long for a room on floor 4.

Ada was excited to stay at the "hospital hotel" and was singing and dancing. I am grateful that she doesn't think of this place as somewhere traumatic. Plus, almost every single nurse or doctor told her how cute she looks in her lady bug dress and recognized Miss Ada.

We were able to do our monthly medicine while we waiting to be hooked up to her immunotherapy.

After being hooked up, there was a tornado warning so all the patients had to wait in the hallways. A little party to wait for the tornado to pass!

Ada made a Lego flower for the nurses station.

My mom came up to help. Conrad, her and I are now at Ronald McDonald after a long day and Ada is asleep with her daddy at the "hospital hotel". Last time I left that's when she started getting her fevers so pray for no fevers and that she tolerates it well.

We came up to check our labs to see if Ada can start the next phase of treatment and her labs looked good! We will go in tomorrow morning to get an LP and then be admitted to start her second round of Blina. Hopefully no fever so we only have to stay for 24 hours!

Thank you to all that have supported us on our journey. For September, childhood cancer awareness month, we wanted to have this "merch" to spread awareness and continue to cheer Ada on as she battles cancer. All of the shirts are yellow to wear gold for childhood cancer awareness.

Labs today to make sure Ada doesn't need any blood products! The nurse didn't get Ada's port the first time so that really sucked. Ada's been doing so so good with getting her port accessed and getting poked twice is double the trauma.

If they can't get it the first time I ask for another nurse to make sure Ada isn't continuously poked.

Her labs came back and her platelets were at a 30. Still very low but not low enough for a transfusion. Hopefully that means she's making her own now and we won't have to be back in for a transfusion but we will continue to monitor her.

Her ANC is still at a zero.
