Me and Alfonso are getting ready to teach ZB1 in Maui Meadows in a few weeks. There’s still time to register for this course, and it’s all the CEUs you need as a LMT or chiropractor this year.

I named him Alfonso from an obscure New Zealand children’s music show/tape called the goldfish show by The Aunties. (They were amazing and should have been world famous). One of the main songs goes “we call him Alfonso cause Alfonso is his name” . i wish i could send you a link but their albums aren’t digitized! i do have copies of it all on tape stored in New Zealand, so one day will find someone who can help digitise it and then, look out world.

There are faster and cheaper ways to get your CEU requirements for LMTs and Chiropractors this year. You could take an online class and get it over with.
This is a full four day immersion that requires you to take some time out of your busy schedule and learn something new. Slow down and receive bodywork for yourself. Its not just another set of techqniues to layer on top of what you know. Its an opportunity to slow down and think more deeply about the healing mechanisms of the body, about the role of the practitioner, and about how to maintain our Clarity of energetic boundary as we work.
In my 23 years of teaching this material, I've discovered it isn't for everyone. Some people want to be able to zone out and listen to their own internal dialogue as they practice. they don't want to cultivate the deep presence required to hold space for another individual in the way this work asks.
And I've learned that for some, this work is the missing piece to bring together knowledge and experience and elevate the way you work.

Final full session trades at the end of ZB2. Integrating the new fulcrums for the complete core protocol. My experience of being part of a ZB course js always different but always and immense journey into creating temporary community, self reflection, personal growth and of course acquisition of new skills. To be learning with all the senses engaged, with all three centres of intelligence activated, is a different kind of learning then we tend have experienced in school. and it feels like home to me.

Im still integrating the special experience of teaching Zero Balancing for Pregnancy and Post Partum clients. For this special advanced ZB course, we had the priveledge to work on women from the local community to practice our new skills. The first pregnant woman who came in for our class demo on day 3, mentioned almost every pregnancy challenge I’d just been teaching about that day. Carpal tunnel pain, shortness of breath, heartburn, sore low back, and round ligament pain! Learning concept and technique is one thing, but it’s never real until we are in connection with a real person.
