Deep Comfort Sound Journey:
a sonic relaxation experience

Thursday, September 24th, 6:00 pm
@ Resonate Sound Healing Studio
409 Bromley Brook Rd, Manchester Center VT

Deep relaxation begins with deep comfort.

Experience a small group sound bath, nestled in a cloud of fluffy linens, floating comfortably atop your own personal air mattress.
The rich cosmic overtones and undertones of gongs, with support from a variety of singing bowls and other instruments send waves of deep vibration through the air to create an immersive sound experience- designed to allow space for you to slow down, reset, and reconnect with self. Gongs are unpredictable, with an irregular pattern of frequencies, so the mind is unable to track, anticipate, or control and it ultimately surrenders, sinking into this world of sound. This can allow you to deeply relax and experience these resonant tones as they pe*****te deeply into the body, releasing tension, stress, and stored emotions, passively dropping you into a meditative state, supporting you as you reestablish balance. Herbal tea & small treats will be served at the conclusion of the event to support a slow and grounded return.

When played skillfully, the otherworldly sounds of the gong can instantly transport us into deeply meditative and transformative states. This class is ideal for those who are curious about playing the gong for self or for others in many settings, including a personal / family meditation practice, community sound baths, bodywork sessions, and as a powerful addition to a yoga teacher’s repertoire, assisting to create memorable and meaningful relaxation moments in any style of class.

I had such a beautiful gong-filled weekend, playing in Factory Point Park for The OM Festival Yoga Fun Day’s weekly Yoga in the Park series (join me and Sam for the next one on 8/9 at 3pm!) and at Zen Revolution Fitness Studio for my Resonate Gong Journey (next sound bath at Zen is 8/28 at 6:30pm!). With all of this 🌧️ the last few days, it already feels like a distant dream 🫢☺️. With my Miguel Lourenco Ocean Gong in the park, from Sunreed and my Tone Of Life Gongs Stardust Gong and Bell Plates from Jarrod Mayer & Melody Balczon 🙏🏻💕 ~shop these wonderful merchants to support VT businesses!~
