Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a lifelong genetic condition that can cause noncancerous tumors in the brain, kidneys, heart, lungs, and skin. Its effects vary widely and may include seizures and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) manifestations.

Although TSC is classified as a rare disease, the impact on the people and families living with it is anything but rare. It shapes daily routines, influences major decisions, and calls for remarkable resilience.
