How do you know when it might be time to consider rehab?

Sometimes it starts with a simple realization that you want something to be different. Maybe you’re ready for a little more structure, want to better understand your relationship with drugs or alcohol, or just feel like you’d benefit from having some support around you.

There’s no single right time or reason to go to treatment. What matters is finding the kind of support that makes sense for you and where you are right now.

Detox is where recovery starts, but it’s not where it ends. Coming off drugs or alcohol can be rough, and medical detox gives you a safe place to get through those first days with a team there to monitor you, help manage withdrawal, and make sure you’re okay.

Once you’re feeling more stable, you can start putting your energy into the rest of treatment. That’s when you can really start digging into what’s been going on and figuring out what you want life to look like without drugs or alcohol.

Inpatient care gives you more structure and 24/7 support while you live at the treatment center. Outpatient care offers more flexibility, so you can continue living at home while attending regular treatment sessions. Things like withdrawal symptoms, your home environment, and how much support you have can all play a role in deciding which level of care is the better fit.

Not sure what the first few days of treatment actually look like? At Batlin Recovery Center, it starts pretty simply. You’ll get settled in, meet the people who will be working with you, and talk through what you need so your care plan fits you. As you get into the routine, your days might include therapy, group support, healthy activities, and time to work on the everyday stuff that can get lost in addiction.

You don’t have to walk in knowing exactly what you need or how everything is going to go. That's what we're here for.
