Every stone dropped in water sends ripples outward — further than we ever see. 🌊
That’s the heart of this retreat: seven nights on the shores of Lake Atitlán, in the company of volcanoes, Maya cosmology, and a community that’s welcomed us back year after year.
This isn’t a retreat that stops at yoga mats and lake views (though there’s plenty of both). It’s built around real relationship — with land, culture, and people:
🔥 A traditional Fire Ceremony led by Tata Walter, rooted in the Maya calendar and passed down through his lineage
☕️ A Cacao Ceremony honoring one of the region’s oldest healing traditions
🧵 Hands learning backstrap weaving from the Kemó Women’s Cooperative in San Juan La Laguna
🦜 A dawn hike into the cloud forest in search of the quetzal, Guatemala’s national bird
🌀 Time with Konojel and Escuela Caracol — grassroots organizations we’ve partnered with for over a decade, working alongside the families who call this lake home
Everything is held — every meal, every ceremony, every excursion, 7 nights of lodging — so all you have to carry is yourself. 🤍
One past guest said it best: leaving felt almost impossible to imagine, like they wanted to freeze time entirely.
Come as you are. Leave changed — and trust that the ripples keep moving long after you do. ✨
