If I had to start my weight loss journey over and lose 52lbs again, I’d only focus on these 3 things ⬇️

Nobody wants to hear it, but losing weight doesn’t have to be complicated. 🙅🏾‍♀️

If I had to start over today, here’s what I’d focus on today:

💧 Drink more water. Before you track a single calorie, your body needs to be hydrated. Dehydration mimics hunger, slows your metabolism, and tanks your energy. Start there.

🚶🏾‍♀️ Get more steps in daily. You don’t need a 90-minute workout to move the needle. Walk to your mailbox. Park farther. Take the stairs. Find a buddy at work to walk with on your lunch break. Movement adds up and it compounds.

🍽️ Eat mindfully. Choose the healthy foods over the foods you’re craving. Food is fuel. It’s hard for your body to metabolize the extra sugars, fat etc from the “comfort foods” we all crave. You don’t need that slice of pizza 🍕, have a salad with chicken instead🥗.

And, slow down when you chew. Actually taste your food. Your body knows when it’s full, you just have to give it a chance to tell you.

Simple? Yes. Easy? Not always. But this is the foundation everything else is built on.

You don’t need a new program. You need consistency with the basics. 💛

Save this for when you need a reminder. 📌
Drop a 💧 below and which one of these are you committing to today. Your future self will thank you.

Coming on here very candidly to talk about motivation and accountability. You don’t hit your goals by only doing the work when you when you want. The real work is done when you don’t want to do it, but you still do it anyways.

If you have just 5-10 minutes you can do that one thing and make it a habit you do every day. Don’t make excuses for yourself anymore.

Tell me in the comments, what is one goal you’ve set for yourself that you have been neglecting? Put it in the chat for accountability and DO IT TODAY! ⬇️

Also, I am a busy mom and I did have school drop off this morning and I take care of my grandmother. We are all busy AND you need to make time for yourself. 💯 ❤️
