Death Cafe is a confidential and safe space where people, often strangers, gather in person to have cake and tea and discuss loss, aging, dying, death, and bereavement. The objective is to increase awareness and normalize the path we are all on. There is no agenda. Together, we craft a safe space to talk about thoughts, dreams, fears, and experiences. We offer mutual support, although not technically a group therapy or grief support group. As with many communities like this, sharing is not mandatory. Please note: If you choose a virtual option, you will have to provide your own cake and tea. Screens can be turned off, if desired. Please check out Open Door Wellness' flyer for this week's virtual and in-person opportunities. $15 donation requested. Please reach out with your questions or concerns. We look forward to meeting you soon! These meetings are still small, as they have only started recently.
