Through the trees, the water, the soil—there is guidance, there is wisdom, there is healing.

But you have to slow down enough to hear it.

Pour into the planet. Speak to it. Care for it.
And watch how it pours life right back into you.

Today we honor Black Doula Day—and this one is personal.

This is for the doulas who show up not just with knowledge, but with lived experience. Who walk into spaces knowing we have to advocate a little louder, stand a little firmer, show our presence so it’s clear! ✊🏽

Because being a Black doula is more than support…
it’s protection. It’s remembrance. It’s resistance. It’s powerful!

In a world where Black mothers are still fighting to be heard, to be believed, to be safe—we become the bridge. The voice. The steady presence that says: you deserve to be cared for, fully and without question.

I do this work for the mamas who came before us.
For the ones who didn’t have a choice, a voice, or support. For the babies being born into a new story and new herstory! —one where they are surrounded by intention, love, and advocacy from their very first breath.

This is legacy work. This is ancestral work. This is heart work.❤️🖤💚

To every Black doula holding space, wiping tears, speaking up, and standing in power… I see you. I honor you. I stand with you.

We are the village. And we are changing outcomes, one family at a time.
