🎉 Great News for Rural Healthcare! 🎉
Minden Primary Care is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $5,000 grant through the Louisiana Department of Health's Telehealth Infrastructure for Rural Access Program.
This funding recognizes the success of our telehealth program and will help us continue expanding access to high-quality healthcare for patients across our rural communities.
Telehealth has made it easier for patients to connect with their healthcare providers by reducing travel, offering greater scheduling flexibility, and ensuring continuity of care when in-person visits aren't possible. During this year's winter ice storm, our telehealth program allowed providers to continue caring for patients safely despite hazardous travel conditions.
The grant was accepted on behalf of Minden Physician Practices by Director Shannon Brown and Regulatory Specialist Heather Osborne, whose leadership has helped advance innovative healthcare solutions for our communities.
We are grateful for this investment and remain committed to making healthcare more accessible, convenient, and connected for every patient we serve.
