Family Tree Clinic’s mission is to cultivate a healthy community through comprehensive sexual health care and education. Family Tree Clinic’s vision is to eliminate health disparities through innovative, personalized sexual health care and education for diverse needs. Located in Minneapolis, MN Family Tree Clinic has provided low-cost, patient driven health care and education services since 1971.

In addition to our medical clinic, we provide comprehensive community education services and education services for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

We’re so excited to share our 2025 Annual Report with you! Each spring, we produce a mid-year publication to reflect on the accomplishments made possible the previous year by our community, volunteers, staff, board members, and donors. We were proud to join community partners and Minneapolis City Council members at this morning’s Pride Breakfast and City Council Resolution reading at City Hall.

Together we celebrated Pride month and honored Juneteenth, Immigrant Heritage Month, World Refugee Day, Caribbean American Heritage Month, and Special Olympics Week in Minneapolis. Today was a powerful reminder that building a truly inclusive city requires both recognition and action.

That’s why we’re so excited to see the introduction of the Pride in Policy legislative package, led by Council Members Chavez (), Chughtai (), Chowdhury (), and Payne (). This set of ordinances, policies and directives strengthens protections for 2SLGBTQIA+ residents and establishes Minneapolis as a safe-haven for gender-affirming and intersex healthcare, among other comprehensive protections for our communities.

We're asking for you to come out on June 17, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the P***c Health, Safety, and Equity Committee for a public hearing for the ordinances and a vote on the rest of the items to show your support.

Thank you to our City Council members for your work to ensure our city remains a proud and welcoming place where all people are welcome to live full and authentic lives free from discrimination. This leadership, alongside the efforts of all our partners, from legal advocates and representatives to community activists and funders, makes our work possible.

We're hiring a Technology Specialist!

As Family Tree Clinic’s primary IT resource, you'll provide reliable, responsive tech support, manage IT infrastructure and Google Workspace, coordinate with our clinic's managed IT vendor on network, server, and EHR-related systems, and lead the implementation of a staff help desk platform.

This hybrid role is primarily on-site with a remote/on-call component to support clinic operations during open hours. You'll report to the Finance Director and collaborate closely with the Building Assistant and staff across the organization to keep our technology running smoothly.
