In addition to our medical clinic, we provide comprehensive community education services and education services for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

The Finance & HR Assistant is responsible for performing the day-to-day bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and other general ledger entries. This position handles day-to-day human resources activities related to payroll, specifically processing timesheets and tracking PTO/sick time, onboarding new employees, and renewing employee benefits.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Switchboard event a few weekends ago! Co-hosting this event with the Minnesota Sexual Health Hotline and the We Help Us Hotline was such a joyful way to celebrate trans and q***r mutual aid. It was especially touching to hear the powerful stories shared by City Council Member Jason Chavez, writer Josina Manu Maltzman and Dr. Kelsey Leonardsmith. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, including our staff, community, and collaborators.

Huge shoutout to Family Tree Clinic board member Phil Hatlie for raising over 10k for Family Tree Clinic and Habitat for Humanity in Fergus Falls! Phil started swimming as a rehab activity to boost his health after a string of surgeries, with a goal to swim Ottertail Lake near Fergus Falls. On July 25th, Phil achieved this goal all while fundraising for his communities!

In Phil’s own words, “Having worked in the nonprofit world most of my adult life, I decided to make this swim more meaningful by making it a fundraising event. Every donation–large or small–will help these organizations continue serving our communities. Thank you for supporting both my recovery journey and these important causes.”
