The OP Staff Picnic was a great success! We enjoyed delicious food from local food trucks, entered to win awesome donated prizes like extra PTO days and Vikings tickets, and spent quality time together.

It's picnic season at OP! ☀️

Last week, individuals served, family members, and staff gathered in Minneapolis for our annual Residential Services Picnic, enjoying great food, fun activities, and time together.

This weekend, we're keeping the celebration going as we gather for our annual OP Staff Picnic. We can't wait to celebrate the incredible team members who make our mission possible every day!

She’s a national pageant queen, a Special Olympics silver medalist and the first person with Down syndrome featured in a Culver's commercial. Plymouth's Elizabeth Neuville is using her platform to mentor others and expand disability advocacy in Minnesota.

Yesterday volunteers from Baker Tilly rolled up their sleeves and got cooking, preparing delicious empanadas that will be delivered to Opportunity Partners group homes. Adding a little extra fun to the day, the men’s team and women’s team faced off in a friendly competition to see who could make the yummiest empanadas. The real winners? The residents who will get to enjoy them!

We wrapped up July with a birthday bash for everyone celebrating the month — and yes, there was plenty of dancing!🕺

Doing good work in the community! Earlier this month a few of our folks packed apples at Second Harvest Heartland. According to the crew, “Volunteering is one of the highlights of our week!”

Community Engagement toured KTIS radio station earlier this month. We got to meet one of the afternoon hosts. He recorded us saying our names and then played it on the radio that afternoon. So cool to have a shout out over the radio waves! Thanks for the hospitality 98.5 KTIS.
