Looking for some ideas in the Twin Cities? Here are a few to consider:

🎥 Alamo Drafthouse Cinema: This movie theater in Woodbury offers all-ages sensory-friendly shows
💡 The Bakken Museum: Explore with the help of tools like headphones that reduce noise and sensory backpacks

Whether you're looking for something new or enjoying a favorite family activity, these sensory-friendly experiences can give children with disabilities a chance to try new things and participate in ways that work for them.

At Accra, we know many parents provide care and support for their children with disabilities every day. Through our programs, eligible parents can get paid for providing that care.

We are excited to welcome Ellie Wilson to Accra as our newest Outreach Manager! 🎉

Ellie comes to Accra from the The Autism Society of Minnesota, where she served as Executive Director for nearly a decade. She has spent the past twenty years of her career centering autistic voices and advocating for the protection, support, and celebration of disability in Minnesota.

"I am honored to join Accra Homecare at a time where the importance of person-centered care has never been clearer. I look forward to collaborating, learning, and contributing to a Minnesota culture where dignity, autonomy, and possibility are accessible to everyone."

Her specialty is fostering energized, healthy community partnerships to promote the evolution of our inclusive societal landscape for individuals on the spectrum or with other disabilities.
