International Overdose Awareness Day 💜🕯️
This is what community looks like.
This is what showing up looks like.
It’s remembering the people we’ve lost.
It’s standing beside those who are still here, sharing stories & resources.
It’s educating our communities, carrying naloxone, sharing resources, having hard conversations and choosing compassion over stigma.

Today we remember every life lost to overdose, every family left behind and every person fighting to make it through to another day.

Overdose is preventable. Recovery is possible. Hope is real. We don’t just care, we show up for another and support our communities!

August 31 marks the 25th Annual International Overdose Awareness day. Today, we reflect on the lives we’ve lost, and take action. Overdose is preventable with the proper tools and education.
