The crisis we're facing isn't just about systems—it's about a worldview that's treated humans as separate from nature, from each other, and from the consequences of what we consume. That disconnection runs deep in how we've built our economy and culture.

But here's what's becoming clearer: we can't keep chasing endless growth on a finite planet. We have to choose. And that choice starts smaller than policy debates—it starts with how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the living systems that actually sustain us.

Real change happens when we slow down enough to feel that connection again. When we build local resilience, practice mutual aid, and remember that our flourishing is tied to the Earth's flourishing. Yes, we need to redesign our economic structures. But we also need to cultivate a way of being that makes that redesign feel natural instead of impossible.
