Cost is $150. If your employer is paying, we will give you a receipt that you can turn into your employer for reimbursement.

Be sure to bring CPAP compliance report if you use CPAP, full medication list, medical specialist notes ( example- cardiology/stress test results).

Diabetics on insulin will need to bring 3 months worth of blood sugar readings on an electronic blood sugar meter.

Vision and hearing screenings will be done, be sure to wear hearing aids, glasses or contacts if needed. Urinalysis will be done to screen for any blood or abnormal protein in your urine.

This hantavirus story is pretty crazy! Hantavirus typically comes from rodent f***s, in small pieces may become aerosolized by being swept up into the air or through an HVAC system potentially. I don't understand why all of the people are still on board that boat, the likely source of the infection. Staying onboard keeps them all at risk of getting the infection. Human to human transmission is very unlikely. I may not be aware of all the information but this seems like another public health failure.

Tip of the day!

As the days are getting warmer and we have more sunlight, remember the sun is good for us and sun exposure without burning is healthy. Remember to use natural sunscreens that contain zinc oxide and titanium that naturally block the suns UVA and UVB rays!

Read the back of the label for active ingredients! Don't be fooled by flashy marketing. DON'T USE chemical sunscreens that contain avobenzone, oxybenzone, octocrylene and ecamsule.

Since the advent of chemical sunscreens malignant melanoma skin cancer has only INCREASED. It has been shown that some chemicals absorb through the skin and can be found in the bloodstream after one use. Certain chemical sunscreens have also been shown to contain benzene, a cancer-causing chemical. There are also concerns that some sunscreen chemicals particularly oxybenzone, may disrupt a person's hormones. Spray chemical sunscreens are flammable as they contain solvents and combustible propellants. Don't put this stuff on your skin, your bodies largest organ!
