We're told to keep all the balls in the air. Work, kids, marriage, home, the never-ending list. Don't drop a single one.
So we don't. We drop ourselves instead.
I chased "work-life balance" for years and never found it because there isn't one. And what we usually call balance? It's just being equally tired everywhere. Stretched thin at work, stretched thin at home, running on empty, and calling it normal.
But normal isn't the same as optimal.
This is my grandson. When I hold him, I think about the next 5, 10, 15 years and I don't want "tired-but-functioning" while his whole childhood goes by. I want to be here, strong and clear and well in my own body, for every bit of it.
That's the shift we make at Credence. We stop asking "how do I balance it all?" and start asking "why am I this depleted in the first place?" then we go fix the root. We help women pick that one dropped ball back up. The one with your name on it. Because a full life was never going to run on balance. It runs on you being well.
I don't believe God calls us to balanced lives. I believe He calls us to whole ones and gives us the health and the grace to carry them.
If you've been carrying everything except yourself, come sit with us. Optimal is possible. 💛
