Today marks the four-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision. While we celebrate the historic overturn of Roe v. Wade and the pro-life laws that are in effect in our state, we know that this fight is far from over.

Since June 24, 2022, out of women who came to First Choice who were considering or planning an abortion, 857 of them have changed their mind to choose life for their unborn baby.

This battle will never be won in courtrooms or statehouses. We must continue to fight for the sanctity of each human life in the hearts of moms and dads who are right here in our community. Thank you for continuing to stand with us for life.

💙 In Thrive class, we talked about emotional needs and love languages. We explored the importance of understanding how we personally feel loved, while also recognizing that others may experience love differently.

One of the biggest takeaways was that healthy relationships require us to not only communicate our own needs but also intentionally meet the emotional needs of those around us through their love languages. When we learn to love others in ways that are meaningful to them, connections grow stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling.

At First Choice, we are committed to supporting families and strengthening relationships through education and encouragement. We offer both individual and group parenting classes designed to equip parents with practical tools, valuable resources, and confidence for every stage of the parenting journey. Dads need other dads.

Today at our Certified Dad Lunch, we talked about navigating uncertainty which is something every father faces. Through conversation, encouragement, and faith, we were reminded that while we can’t predict or avoid uncertainty, we can choose how we respond to it. Certified Dad Lunch is a place to connect, grow, and be encouraged alongside other men who are walking the same journey.

Certified Dads Lunch is more than just a meal, it’s a place where encouragement, wisdom, and genuine connection can bring change. One conversation, one lesson, and one relationship at a time, God uses these moments to help shape us into the dads He calls us to be.
