We are excited that our very own Bethany and Khandi will be leading Embrace Grace at Frazer Church on Wednesday evenings!

Embrace Grace is a welcoming support group and Bible study created to connect, encourage, and walk alongside single pregnant women. The group will meet weekly for 12 weeks, beginning in September.

At First Choice, our heart is to ensure that no woman faces an unexpected pregnancy alone. We are grateful for opportunities like this to extend our mission beyond our centers and into the community, offering women hope, support, and the love of Christ. Frazer Church

We are so thankful for our time at the Care Net Conference and are still learning from everything we experienced!

The first photo includes representatives from pregnancy resource centers across Alabama. What an encouragement it was to gather with so many incredible people who share the same heart for serving women, men, and families and protecting life throughout our state!

Our team returned home refreshed, encouraged, and equipped with new ideas and valuable resources. We are grateful for the powerful worship, practical workshops, meaningful conversations, and connections with others who are committed to this important mission.

Thank you, Care Net, for investing in pregnancy centers across the country. We are excited to put what we learned into action as we continue offering hope, help, and compassionate care throughout the River Region!

Today is day one of the Care Net Conference! Four members of our First Choice team are excited for several days of learning, encouragement, and connection with others who share our commitment to serving families. The conference continues through Saturday, and we are especially proud that our Executive Director, Bethany Garth, will be leading a workshop!

Today’s Thrive class was all about Navigating Stress in Pregnancy and Early Parenthood.

We’re so thankful for Ashley and Kelly from Gift of Life for spending time with our moms and dads and sharing practical ways to manage stress during pregnancy and those early days of parenting.

Pregnancy and parenthood can bring so many changes, and we love creating a place where families can learn, be encouraged, and know they don’t have to navigate it alone.

This sweet mama is a third grade teacher, a mom of several children, and no stranger to First Choice! She has participated in our parenting classes through more than one season of motherhood.

Once again, she has faithfully attended classes, completed her homework, and saved her Mommy Money and this time, she worked toward something she really needed: a brand-new car seat!

We love seeing moms come back, continue learning, set goals, and work hard for their families. We are so proud of her and all she has accomplished! 💙

At First Choice, we have the privilege of walking alongside moms and dads through some of life’s most vulnerable moments and then we get to witness moments like this.

From that first positive pregnancy test to the moment they hold their baby in their arms, we are here. Encouraging, supporting, and reminding them they are not alone.

Every life is precious. Every mom and dad matters. Every baby is fearfully and wonderfully made. 💙
