What if your body is more exhausted than you realize?

Not physically.

Nervous system exhausted.

Always thinking.
Always planning.
Always carrying.

One of the things I observe most often during sound baths is that people don’t realize how much tension they’re holding until they finally give themselves permission to rest.

The vibrations of the gong invite the body into a different state. Breathing slows. Muscles soften. The mind becomes a little quieter.

For 90 seconds, give yourself permission to stop scrolling.

Take a breath.
Drop your shoulders.
Notice what changes.

🎧 Headphones recommended for the best experience.

What did you notice in your body while listening?

PAST. FUTURE. PRESENT.

Most of us spend our days caught between what already happened and what hasn’t happened yet.

The conversation you can’t stop replaying.

The decision you’re trying to make.

The worry that keeps you awake at night.

Meanwhile, your body is carrying the weight of it all.

Tight shoulders.
A racing mind.
A clenched jaw.
A nervous system that never quite gets a chance to exhale.

This is why I love sound.

The vibrations create an opportunity to stop gripping for a moment.

To soften.

To breathe.

To remember what it feels like when your body isn’t preparing for the next thing.

Just this moment.
Just this breath.
Just this sound.

Preparing for a Blue Moon in Sagittarius Sound Bath.

Every sound journey begins before the first note is played.

Creating the space.
Setting the instruments.
Grounding the energy.
Establishing an environment where people can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves.

The vibrations of the gong, singing bowls, chimes, and sacred sound invite the nervous system into a state of rest, allowing the body and mind to release what is no longer needed and return to balance.

Tonight’s gathering was held under the Blue Moon in Sagittarius, a time often associated with expansion, perspective, and possibility.

Thank you to everyone who shared the experience.

This is a one player game.

Not because other people don’t matter.
But because your life will always mirror the relationship you have with yourself.

The way you speak to yourself.
The way you care for yourself.
The standards you tolerate.
The risks you avoid.
The love you believe you deserve.

Most people are exhausted from competing with everyone else while abandoning themselves in the process.

Real growth started for me when I stopped asking, “Am I ahead of them?”
…and started asking, “Am I betraying myself less than I used to?”

Your outer world will eventually reflect your inner world.
Your habits. Your self-respect. Your discipline. Your healing. Your honesty.

That’s the real work.

Standing on top of Montserrat, I realized the climb wasn’t the hard part.
Slowing down long enough to appreciate my life has been the real journey.

There’s something humbling about reaching a peak and realizing you don’t need more in this moment.
Just breath. Presence. Perspective.

Found this photo in my camera roll today.
A singing bowl. The ocean. Stillness.

Sometimes old photos remind us of parts of ourselves we’re trying to return to.
Not the location.
Not the moment.
The feeling. 🌊

The kind of peace you can actually hear.

Some moments don’t ask us to perform.
They ask us to listen.

The wind moved through the bamboo.
The waves answered back.
And for a few quiet moments, I remembered that healing doesn’t always happen in silence. Sometimes it sounds like nature reminding you that you belong here too. 🌊🎐

At the Small Aten Temple in Amarna, I practiced the Sun Salutation Mudra beneath the same sun once honored by Akhenaten and the ancient Egyptians as the giver of life.

But this moment wasn’t about worshipping something outside of myself.

It was about remembering the light within.

Kali Natha Yoga teaches:
“The divine prana of the Sun flows through us and shines with a radiance through each asana… The practice of yoga awakens the inner Sun.”

Standing here, I felt the deeper meaning of that.

Not performance.
Not perfection.
Presence.

A quiet remembrance that the light we seek has always lived within us.

This week has been full.
Travel. Family. Celebrations. Constant movement.

Today I found a creek, sat with my instruments, listened to the water rushing by, and let myself slow down long enough to hear myself again.

No performance.
No rushing.
No trying to produce something.

Just breath. Sound. Nature. Presence.

Sometimes healing looks less like “doing the work” and more like giving your body permission to unclench.

The birds kept singing anyway.
The water kept moving anyway.
And for a little while, I stopped trying to carry everything.

Part of the speech Saair wrote continued…
“But, let me tell you what’s crazy.
Somewhere in between the bad haircuts, late-night laughs, working jobs after school, those funny last minute in between class runs, all-nighters, all those little in between times, but we all did actually grew up.
Not all at the same time though. Not like some big, life-changing moment. Just steadily, almost silently…
High school wasn’t just about memorizing thoes math formulas or writing essays or even remembering what happened in the cold war during the 1950’s. It taught us all to handle the stress. It was all about the freindships, the lessons we didn’t expect to learn throughout highschool, and the people who helped us shape who we are today as highschool graduates going into adulthood.
Turns out, growth isn’t a movie montage. It’s actually staying up the late hours to finish that assignment that is due the next day. It’s showing up even when you wanted to stay home from school. It’s the trying again no matter what, even if you wanted to give up.” The full speech doesn’t fit here but I’m so proud of Saair and his accomplishments. I’m excited to witness your continued growth and success. I love you, kid. Never give up on you. You’ve got this, always. 🥰🙏🏼👏🎉❤️✨
