Reminiscing about last weekend at Jennifer LaMonaca for NOFA-NJ FESTOMATO…A perfect summer day with the fam! We enjoyed a delicious lunch from Poor Elsie's BBQ (I think we got one of everything on the menu to try), taste tested our way through a beautiful variety of delicious locally grown tomatoes, sipped some local brews by The Seed: A Living BeerProject enjoyed a great talk by Toni Farmer MES and pickedToni Farmer MESJ Farmers Against Hunger NJ Farmers Against Hungerith a few goodies from Fluffy Farms

Well if you are, you are going to want to stop by and see Toni Farmer MES who’s speaking at 1pm about growing tomatoes and doing a dehydration demonstration! We’ve got her stocked with a case of our NW Plant & Turf Booster™ which she’ll be giving away to attendees (while supplies last).

National Farmers Market Week is happening August 2–8 this year (but we’re getting started a little early). We stopped by to see our friends at Folks Farm and Market to grab some fresh, local produce for the weekend. Loved seeing all the different shapes and sizes of all the veggies and what a beautiful array of vibrant colors! This beats a grocery store any day! We wish it could be summer all year round…Now more than ever, we can’t stress enough how important it is to support your local farmers, not just this week, but as often as you can!
