Did you know that it's been almost 5 full years since Amazon came out publicly and said that the ""time has come" for U.S. to legalize ma*****na"?

5 years later and although the federal government HAS rescheduled ma*****na (progress,) we still have a lot of work to do regarding getting ALL of the United States (especially our beautiful state - South Carolina) on board with a legal platform to give all US citizens (adults) legal access to the plant we all love so much!

Online retailer, which no longer screens workers for ma*****na use, wants Congress to ease nation's cannabis laws.

Did you know that South Carolina passed the Controlled Substances Therapeutic Research Act on February 28, 1980! Signed by Governor Richard Riley, this obscure law established a state-managed therapeutic research program to distribute medical cannabis to certified cancer chemotherapy, radiology, and glaucoma patients.

With elections coming up don't forget to speak with your local representatives and voice your support to get legal cannabis laws passed in our beautiful state!

🐢 Another sea turtle nest has been discovered right here in Myrtle Beach!

The nest, containing 111 eggs, was found Tuesday morning and carefully relocated to a safer area where the eggs will be better protected until they hatch. This marks the fourth sea turtle nest found in Myrtle Beach so far this season!!

Sea turtles are an important part of our coastal ecosystem, and we're lucky to share our beaches with them. If you're out enjoying the shoreline and spot a sea turtle nest or what appears to be a false crawl, please report it right away so local experts can investigate and help protect these incredible animals.
