Full arsenal of an uncommitted 2028.

Emery Kinn | Class of 2028 | Barron Collier

Changeup, sweeper, slider, sinker — Emery’s whole arsenal, and all of them are pretty nasty.

Last pen before heading to school.

Alan Overmyer | Louisiana Tech Commit

Alan getting his final pen in before he heads to Louisiana Tech. Sitting low 90s, stuff looks sharp. Very excited for him to head to school and ball out.

The linear move unlocks velo.

Noah Bell | Class of 2027 | Fort Myers HS

Pitching is rotational — you have to be an incredible rotator to throw hard. But before any of that, there has to be a strong linear move toward home plate. With Noah we’re working on letting everything travel down the mound instead of being “Mister Rotation” and just spinning in place from here to here. That linear drive builds the momentum first and sets up proper sequencing, so he can let the rotation happen.

Gaining depth to land more leveraged.

Greg Carrasco | Class of 2027 | Palmetto Ridge

With Greg it’s about gaining some depth as he goes down the mound — loading into the back hip instead of collapsing the knee forward and leaking energy. Getting that depth lets him hold that position longer, causing a more efficient rotation. He lands from a much more leveraged spot with a firmer front-side block to drive against — a well-positioned pelvis that allows us to turn all that linear energy into rotation. Better position, better fastball.

Getting out of the ground to put force back into the ground.

Dylan Gonczy | Class of 2027 | Bishop Verot

We’re implementing a simple feel with Dylan — get tall out of the ground, then put that force back into the ground as we move down the mound. Feeling the leg lift get him tall and feel like he comes out of the ground, so all that energy gets driven back into the ground and given back to us to send up the chain.

Travel down the mound, stay quick and fluid with the arm.

Drew Stillwell | Saint Leo University

With Drew it’s about letting himself travel down the mound and build momentum toward the plate, while staying quick and fluid with the arm. He can have a tendency to get a little static with the throwing arm, so the feel is keeping it moving and on time — not letting the upper half open up early while everything else keeps working forward.
