WAIT… you mean plantar fasciitis isn’t fixed with Hokas, orthotics, and more stretching? 😳

This is one of the biggest reasons I see people stuck with plantar fasciitis for months, or even years.

They’ve been told to:

👟 Wear more supportive shoes
🦶 Get orthotics
🧘 Stretch their calves every day
🧊 Ice it when it hurts
🛋️ Rest until it feels better

And while some of those things may temporarily reduce pain, they don’t necessarily address the bigger problem:

Your foot needs to become stronger and better able to handle load.

If your entire recovery plan revolves around supporting, cushioning, stretching, and protecting your foot… when does your foot actually get stronger?

That’s why my approach focuses on things like:

✨ Progressive strengthening
✨ Improving foot and toe function
✨ Strategic barefoot time
✨ Footwear that allows your foot to move naturally
✨ Gradually building your foot’s capacity

If you’re ready to rethink what you’ve been told about plantar fasciitis, comment PROGRAM and I’ll send you the details for my step-by-step program.

What if one of the reasons your plantar fasciitis isn’t getting better is because your feet simply aren’t strong enough?

In my latest YouTube video, I’m showing you 4 simple exercises that can help rebuild that strength.

In this video, I’m showing you why your feet may have become weak in the first place, and 4 simple exercises to start rebuilding their strength and function.

If I had just 5 minutes with every person struggling with plantar fasciitis, there are five things I’d want them to know.

Because after specializing in PF for more than 25 years , I’ve watched far too many people spend months, and sometimes years, doing everything they were told to do, and still waking up with heel pain every morning.

Here’s what concerns me: Most traditional approaches to plantar fasciitis are focused on relieving symptoms.

But pain relief and recovery are not the same thing.

And if no one addresses why your foot became painful in the first place, you can end up cycling through one temporary solution after another.

That’s exactly why I made my latest YouTube video.

In it, I share the 5 things I wish every plantar fasciitis patient understood, including:

1. Why we need to stop treating plantar fasciitis like an inflammation problem

2. Why pain relief doesn't necessarily mean your foot is recovering

3. The problem with relying on passive treatments

4. Why your shoes and orthotics shouldn't be doing the work your feet are designed to do

5. Why your feet need progressive loading, not endless rest and stretching

If you've been doing “all the right things” and your plantar fasciitis still isn't going away, I especially want you to watch this one.

You may realize that the missing piece isn't another treatment.

It may be a completely different way of thinking about recovery.

Don't Buy Another Pair of Shoes Until You Watch This!

Choosing the right footwear is one of the most important pieces of recovering from plantar fasciitis and chronic foot pain.

If your feet ache after standing all day, or you're dealing with plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, or Achilles tendon pain...

In my latest YouTube video, I break down the four shoe features I believe are keeping so many people stuck, and what to look for instead.

If your plantar fasciitis isn't getting better... it may not be because you're doing too little. It may be because you're doing the wrong things.

Your feet don't get stronger from endless stretching, icing, or avoiding movement.

They get stronger when you rebuild their strength, function, and capacity.

These are the 3 exercises I recommend most often:

✅ Short Foot Exercise (Foot Doming) – Strengthens the muscles that support your arch.

✅ Progressive Calf Raises – Gradually rebuilds the strength and load tolerance of your calf, Achilles tendon, and plantar fascia.

✅ Barefoot Walking with Toe Spacers – Helps restore natural foot function while strengthening your feet.

Your plantar fascia was designed to handle load.

The goal isn't to protect it forever...

The goal is to make it stronger.

Plantar fasciitis isn't becoming more common because our feet are getting weaker overnight.

It's becoming more common because modern shoes have changed the way our feet function.

From dress shoes and work shoes to running shoes, cleats, and even many "supportive" shoes, most are built with narrow toe boxes, elevated heels, and features that work against the natural design of the human foot.

The good news? There are better options.

👇 Comment "SHOES" and I'll send you my list of footwear that actually supports healthy foot function.

The Real Reason Plantar Fasciitis Takes So Long To Heal:

Does this sound like you?

✅ Bought the Hokas the running store recommended.

✅ Got orthotics from your podiatrist.

✅ Stretch every day.

✅ Ice it constantly.
..and your heel still hurts.

That's why so many people stay stuck.

No wonder you're frustrated. The conflicting advice is overwhelming.

The good news? There's a reason you're confused. Most plantar fasciitis treatment focuses on reducing pain instead of improving foot function.

Put the word "GUIDE" in the comment and I'll show you what works.

One of the most common questions I get about the best shoes for plantar fasciitis is:

"Why don't you recommend HOKAs or Brooks like so many other foot specialists do?"

Well, it isn't about the brand. It's about the features.

Many of the popular "supportive" shoes share several characteristics that can change how your feet function over time:

👉 A tapered toe box that restricts your toes from spreading naturally.
👉 Thick cushioning and excessive support that can reduce the amount of work your foot muscles do.
👉 And heel elevation that shortens your calf & achilles, and stresses your forefoot.

Many people choose shoes based on how they feel in the store.

Soft. Cushioned. Supportive.

When your feet hurt, that feels like exactly what you need.

I call it the Comfort Trap.

What feels great for the first 30 seconds can actually prevent your feet from getting stronger over time.

Your feet were designed to move, stabilize, and absorb force. When your shoes do all the work, your feet stop doing their job.

Look for four simple features:

✔ Wide toe box
✔ Zero-drop platform
✔ Flexible sole
✔ Moderate cushioning

Shoes can make you more comfortable, but they won’t fix your plantar fasciitis.

That’s where many people get confused.

They keep buying different overly supportive shoes, adding inserts, trying to support the problem, but the pain never goes away.

Plantar fasciitis isn’t a shoe problem. It’s a strength, mobility, and load tolerance problem

Your foot needs to be able to:

✔️ Move well
✔️ Absorb load
✔️ Build strength

Supportive shoes prevent all of those things, and keep you stuck.

We need shoes that allow our feet to function as they should with wide toe boxes and zero drop.

If you want to make sure your shoes aren't preventing your progress...

👉 Put the word SHOES in the comments and I’ll send you my Approved Shoe List.
